Job Description

***$300 HIRING BONUS***

As a Front Desk agent, you will coordinate service and occupancy, opening the door to exciting urban adventures. In this multi-faceted role, you will be at the center of service activity, engaging in surprisingly unscripted interactions to ensure every guest's stay is memorable for the right reasons.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Greet guests upon arrival to the resort. Ensure that guests are checked in to their rooms in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner. Engage in meaningful conversation with guests during the check-in/out process. Post charges and process payments to guest accounts. Handle cash and/or credit as a form of payment. Maintain a working knowledge of the property, as well as special events. Promptly respond to guests' requests or inquiries. Update reservation information into the computer system as needed. Observe credit limitations and manages reservation ledgers correctly. Prepare shift cash report, balancing payments and disbursements for shift end and balancing accounts. Contact appropriate supervisor on guest related complaints. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: At least one year experience in a high-volume, customer service environment. Previous experience handling cash, cash and/or credit as a form of payment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English. Excellent customer service skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Polished appearance and demeanor. Strong ability to connect with others and easily and quickly engage in conversation. Excellent computer skills with the ability to successfully learn & utilize new software. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. At least 18 years of age.

Preferred: Previous experience working in a Front Desk environment. Previous experience in a luxury, resort setting. Working knowledge in LMS and/or HotSOS.

Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs. Strong eye/hand coordination. Use of standard office equipment. Basic math. Ability to push and/or pull item up to 5 lbs. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
