Job Description

The RPA Analyst's primary role is to understand current business processes, analyze those processes and business requirements, determine the potential for automation, and craft functional and design specifications for attended and unattended automation projects. The RPA Analyst is also responsible for building relationships and working collaboratively with stakeholders, business partners, and development teams to ensure the final product aligns with the vision of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following: Participate in all aspects of implementing automation solutions from requirements gathering and process documentation to development, testing, and deployment of RPA solutions and BI reporting. Perform process studies, assess processes, conduct design thinking sessions, and identify & implement improvement opportunities. Work with business leaders and stakeholders to document and reimagine processes through an automation lens. Prepare, maintain, and update application design documentation related to processes and operational workflows. Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design, build, and deploy reports in existing BI systems. Support existing automated processes and BI reports and implement changes as part of a structured change control process. Work with IT team to understand the impact of changes to a system and/or network on automated processes. Monitor the successful execution of automation products. Provide resolution of issues that arise in day-to-day management of robotic processes & reports and provide timely responses and solutions as required. Work collaboratively with business and technical teams to deliver projects by assigned deadlines. Manage and measure automation success against established metrics. Assist with adoption of best practices and standards for automation/bot development. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: Experience in one or more of the following areas - process transformation, automation technology implementation, data and analytics, software development, software development life cycle (Waterfall or Agile). Prior experience in Robotic Process Automation solution design and implementation and in a broader suite of technologies used for automation such as SQL, data analytics, Python, etc. Previous experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects. Experience in Tableau or other BI reporting tools. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance or related field and three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Advanced Excel skills are a must. Ability to understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution. Ability to analyze business processes, recommend improvements, and develop RPA solutions around them. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Team player willing to collaborate and work towards a common vision. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and to balance aggressive timelines. Ability to deal with fast pace environment with flexibility to deal with change. Possess, or able to obtain, a valid Nevada gaming card. Polished appearance and demeanor. Excellent customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English. Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team. Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules policies, procedures and state & federal regulatory requirements. At least 21 years of age.

Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, employees and guests is necessary. Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility. Bending and reaching. Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs. Eye/hand coordination. Use of standard office equipment. Basic math. Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs. The ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Ability to and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
