As an Autograph Registration Associate, you will accommodate a unique clientele, providing unconventional service in a dynamic atmosphere where they will see and be seen. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Handle cash and/or credit as a form of payment. Post charges to guest accounts and processes payment on accounts. Observe credit limitations and manage reservation ledgers correctly. Prepare shift cash report, balancing payments and disbursements for shift end and balancing accounts. Respond to guest request for reservations. Assist in handling guest problems and report all incidents to management in accordance with policy and procedures. Maintain a working knowledge of the property, Marriott Rewards, Autograph Collection, as well as special events on and near property to provide the highest level of service to customers. Respond to guests' requests, complaints or inquiries courteously and promptly. Maintain a working knowledge of availability, qualifying criteria, room rates, types, locations, package plans, special features, information on all outlets, hours of operation, and various local attractions, in order to advise guests of same, whenever possible. Maintain the confidentiality of guest and departmental information. Customize guest experience by coordinating and reserving guest activities on property and abroad. Facilitate guest call-backs. Ensure that each guest is given a VIP Check-in/Checkout experience. Maintain an upscale environment not only in Autograph Lounge, but also in the registration kitchen; will handle food as required. Stock and continuously monitor the expiration of food & beverage products. Other duties as assigned.
Required: At least one year experience in Front Desk Operations or similar role. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English. High School diploma or equivalent. Polished appearance and demeanor. Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. At least 18 years of age.
Preferred: Previous experience in VIP Services operation in a large, luxury resort setting. Working knowledge of LMS.

Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs. Eye/hand coordination. Use of standard office equipment. Basic math. Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
