Summary

 

This role will be responsible for the execution and selling of AWG Brand strategic initiatives to increase sale and market share of AWG Members. This role will be responsible for attaining AWG Brands sales metrics and goals within the assigned AWG Division, and engage with the Division and assigned Equity Groups throughout the Division to drive AWG Brand sales.

 

Description of Work

 

Essential Functions:

  Responsible for developing and growing AWG Brands in assigned division. Execute AWG Brands initiatives with the assigned Equity Groups in the Division Develop and responsible for AWG Brands sales budget, plans for assigned Equity Groups in the Division  Responsible for Headquarter calls with assigned Equity Groups on a regular cadence in the Division Responsible for working with all Ad Groups in the Division: In-House, Alliance, Self-Negotiating, etc. Responsible for achieving Distribution Goals and filling Distribution Voids within Division Responsible for AWG Brands Penetration Goals within the Division Responsible for Developing Marketing Plans with Equity Groups: Hometown Supplemental Ads, Digital Coupons, Selling Shows, etc. in cooperation with Divisional Counterparts Responsible for conducting Quarterly reviews with AWG Division Leadership and assigned Equity Groups in assigned division. Responsible for providing progress reports to AWG Brands Regional Sr. Sales Manager, Divisional Leadership and Equity Groups Responsible for cascading AWG Brands initiatives and sales objectives to the AWG Merchandising/Sales teams in the Division.

 

 

Qualifications Bachelors Degree Preferred or comparable work experience required, minimum 5 years in the Grocery Industry Marketing/Sales Background  Strong Business Knowledge

 

Knowledge: Exceptional understanding of the retail grocery industry Sales experience calling on Key Accounts

 

Abilities: Exceptional communication skills-communicate with all levels of retail management Attention to detail and time management skills. Strong technical aptitude with comfort in software navigation. Effective relationship building skills to create and grow professional relationships with AWG Divisional Leadership and Key Equity Groups.  Highly adaptable and able to manage various tasks while meeting multiple deadlines.  Ability to develop budget and sales plan  Proficient with Power Point, Excel and Word

 

Working Environment: 25-40% Travel
