We are currently hiring a CNC Machinist at our Coon Valley, WI location which plays a vital role in our Forged Products division by producing aerospace and jet engine components that meet the quality, reliability and safety standards of ATI and our customers.

As a CNC Machinist, you are an integral part of a successful team and be responsible for setting up and operating the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines that produce specialized products and components. A successful CNC Machinist is a problem-solver, safety focused, and understands the importance of precision and quality.
In order to become successful, you’ll have to learn ATI, our products, customers, and procedures; and work collaboratively with other CNC Operators and cross-functional teams to ensure product is manufactured to quality and customer specifications.
Additional Responsibilities: Raw material incoming visual inspection Receive work instructions, operation sheets, setup sheets and appropriately load and unload parts into the machine with an overhead crane Machine parts to meet manufacturing tolerances, perform final inspection using precision and standard measuring devices, and clean finished product at the end of the production cycle Work closely with manufacturing leadership and fellow team members to achieve shared goals Perform preventative maintenance tasks Ensure accurate completion of required documentation
This shift is on a 12-hour rotating schedule and will be a night shift from 7pm - 7am. Every other week will be as follows: five 12-hour days (with 20 hours of overtime) and the following week two consecutive 12 hour days.

Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications (in addition Basic Qualifications) Prior lathe machining experience, a manufacturing certificate, or at least one year of working experience in manufacturing, farming/agriculture, military, warehousing, or another industrial environment
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently A strong dedication to safe working practices Strong attention to detail skills with the ability to problem solve and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement. Have a high level of mechanical aptitude with a commitment to continuously development machining skill sets
