Essential Job Functions: Utilizes basic ingredients to perform basic cooking techniques according to established recipes; sautéing, grilling, frying, roasting, and/or preparation of basic dough to create pastries, cakes and baked goods Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking. Observes and tests foods being cooked to determine that it is cooked. Carves meats, portions food on serving plates, adds sauces and garnishes to complete food order. Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. Three or more years related experience and/or training preferred. Must be available to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends. Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.
Physical and Mental Demands: Regularly required to see, hear and smell; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under occasional fast paced and hot working conditions.
