Job Description

Prevea is seeking to attract ethnically diverse staff who can support the growth of a new department focused on redress of social determinants of health. Position Summary This position will support Prevea Health's diversity and inclusion work across the network. This work will include the development of agency wide programming aimed at education, action and change related to social determinants of health and decreasing health disparities. Working closely with the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion, this position will provide critical support securing information, making community connections and growing Prevea's response to Wisconsin's poor grade on quality of life indicators for people of color, from rural and urban populations. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the functions identified in the job description.   Essential Functions Statement(s) * Support the development and creation of relevant materials/activities focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) that aim to drive Prevea's Diversity and Inclusion (D & I) strategic direction * Work in concert with the VP of Diversity and Inclusion to assess and coordinate educational resources for use across the agency for continued D & I growth. * Collaborate with Prevea teams and relevant workgroups to identify internal partners and address the training needs of the company. * Work with the VP of D & I to evaluate the effectiveness of professional development for employees. * Work with Prevea marketing to develop and disseminate D & I products and services to employees and our constituency through a variety of media. * Attend educational opportunities to maintain skills necessary to meet the training needs of a diverse learning institution. * Assist with the expansion of Prevea University, regular D & I events and the production of an annual conference * Other duties as assigned.
