ComfortUp is one of the first successful startups born from Watsco Ventures, the venture arm of the world's largest independent distributor of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) products. Watsco Ventures invests in new technologies and business models that accelerate Watsco Inc.'s growth.  

We are looking for a savvy Product Strategist and Marketing Growth Leader with exceptional bandwidth who can navigate a rapidly changing organization and implement high growth strategies. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for managing our marketing partners while developing and implementing new strategies to help grow and scale our ecommerce platform with a customer-centric approach. The ideal candidate is a leader, a strategist, and a doer. If you are someone with experience managing an ecommerce team and a proven record of growing sales, we want to hear from you. This leader will report directly to our President.

Responsibilities Develop digital strategies for both B2C and B2B businesses while leveraging analytics and marketing science to steer campaigns and fuel sales growth. Develop and implement digital marketing initiatives with a focus on creativity in messaging and user experience. Excel in data analysis and managing both SEM and SEO as well as managing our external vendors that are relied upon for the following Marketing Services: Search engine marketing/optimization Social media management & advertising Marketplace marketing Email & SMS marketing Strategically and analytically build the vision for our product roadmap, ensuring alignment between the internal team and agency partners to meet revenue targets on schedule and on budget. Co-manage the ongoing enhancements and technical sustainment with our digital agency partner(s) Own key site metrics including sales, speed, AOV, conversion rate, bounce rate, new customer acquisition, and more. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and customer care to drive key business objectives. Provide regular reports on new initiatives and data insights. Analyze website and online performance using data to make suggestions to increase traffic, engagement, and conversion points in a B2B and B2C marketing funnel. Own and track the marketing budget. Manage creative production via both in-house team and external agencies.
Skills and experience Proven experience as a marketing technologist in creating growth strategies that combine product, data, and marketing expertise. Digital business experience across web development, supply chain, merchandising, logistics, IT, customer care, analytics, social media, and digital product management. Experience in journey & funnel technology, CRM & Reporting tools Exceptional at problem solving & overcoming growth roadblocks. Experience in building metrics-driven marketing processes History of proactively partnering with various external organizations to drive growth. Technical knowledge and in-depth experience in building digital inbound marketing competencies, including SEO, SEM, A/B testing, email and social. Analytical and data-driven approach to solving business problems. Experience managing to a set of KPIs, reporting on performance, and devising strategies and tactics for improvement. Impeccable customer focus and professionalism Clever, original, and inventive -- with a passion for using experimentation and learning to create competitive advantage. Team player with strong skills in the areas of leadership, motivation, relationship building, and communications A "player/coach" manager who is unafraid to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done. Self-Starter & Self-Managed History of Brand Development & Positioning in ecommerce Proven experience with CMS & Content Creation Working knowledge of behavioral targeting and A/B testing Collaborative by nature Strong desire for team success Experience with cross-channel marketing strategies, content marketing and go-to-market execution. Specialize in eCommerce marketing, SEM, conversion rate optimization, PLA, creative writing, CRM management, social media marketing, email marketing, SEO market analysis, brand development, and market segmentation. Skilled in customer journey mapping, product messaging and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics. Oversaw product marketing strategy, product positioning and creative content management for marketing campaigns across all channels by implementing a seamless go-to-market process.

 

Qualifications

  3+ years of experience building and leading an in-house ecommerce team ( required ) 3+ years of experience with Shopify Plus ( required ) Proficient in Google Analytics setup, analysis, customization, and refinement techniques ( required ) Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams ( required ) History of driving site performance in key metrics like sales, conversation rate, and new customer acquisition ( preferred ) Experience managing the Q/A and UAT process, ensuring the site is always performing optimally ( preferred ) Knowledge and experience with VOIP, CRM, AS-400, PNL, Logistics, Warehousing, Merchandising, Heiler Software, Microstrategy (BI), and Zoom ( preferred )
