Job Description

Position Summary:

Assists in all areas within HR with regard to all Rivers Casino matters such as licensing, recruitment, benefits and leaves, team relations, and training and on- boarding of new team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review applications to ensure compliance according to company and regulatory policies and procedures. Utilize applicant tracking system to review applicants for open positions and communicate interview opportunities with identified candidates, maintaining accurate lifecycle recruiting procedures. Research, analyze and identify the best sources for recruitment advertising including social media, online websites, print, radio and other. Ensure compliance with regulatory concerns and reporting. Working with the licensing specialist, coordinate the license process for Team Members, Maintains constant positive TM relations. Assists in conducting TM relation’s investigations and works with the HRBP and HR Business Partner Manager to resolve all TM issues. Working with the Sr. HR Representative - Total Rewards, supports both the benefits and leaves processes to include assisting in monitoring of the hotline.. Assists the Community Relations/Internal communications Specialist with various tasks.   Assists in the coordination of TM events. Monitor and deliver Team Member Recognition information and materials as well as Length of Service awards. Assist the HRBP in unemployment related matters. Assists with employment verifications. Perform Infinium backup. Assist in EEOC compliance matters. Assist in Light Duty/Return to Work matters. Assist with TM Handbook and Policy and Procedures. Conduct exit interviews. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or education and equivalent experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Computer skills required include Google Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Experience with HRIS, ATS, and LMS systems preferred. Must be able to work with high volumes of confidential information in a professional manner. Must be able to handle difficult/emotional employees professionally. Must be familiar with employee benefits, including health insurance, 401K, disability, FMLA, COBRA, and other work related benefits. Ability to communicate with Team members and guests. Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process. Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays. Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.





Physical Requirements Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Must occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor.
