Job Description

Position Summary:

This position oversees the Total Rewards Programs including: Compensation, Recognition, Benefits, and Wellness for the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Benefits Manage the company’s health and welfare plans, specifically the medical, dental, life, disability, voluntary, 401K benefit plans, FSA/HSA and COBRA in accordance with approved plan Manage the company’s leave of absence programs with the 3rd party vendor as well as HR Business Partners including FMLA, State Leaves, Personal Leaves and all other forms of Develops, manages and executes the company’s wellness program; including all communication and education and the development and execution of wellness and consumerism Ensures the accuracy of all information in the benefits, compensation and rewards related Assists Team Members with issues for: medical, prescription, dental, vision, non-work related disability claims, and COBRA Manages benefit accounts by reviewing and reconciling billing statements and generating payment Reviews and processes information related to benefits enrollments, deductions, coverage amounts, qualifying events, and other coverage related information in the Benefits Administration systems.

 

Rewards Manages our job classification system to ensure consistency and market competitiveness. Conduct audits and take actions to ensure jobs are correctly classified according to FLSA guidelines. Manages the recognition programs including the Rush Street Rewards system (aka Awardco) to ensure recognition is managed within approved budgeting. Partner with HR Business Partner team, department stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that all compensation and rewards programs support the efforts to cultivate a diverse, talented, and engaged Trains, develops, coaches and mentors Human Resources team in the areas of Benefits and Rewards. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Bachelor Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field preferred At least five (5+) years. in Human Resources with at least one (1) year management experience in the areas of self-funded benefits, compensation, recognition and employee events or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Human Resources certification preferred (CBP, CCP, PHR, SPHR). Must be able to work with high volumes of confidential information in a professional manner. Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and effectively manage multiple complex projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills. Demonstrated knowledge of state, federal and local laws relating to employee benefits and compensation. Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory, legal requirements and reporting, including ACA, COBRA, EEO, ERISA, HIPAA, FLSA, FMLA, and GINA. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work cross functionally and in a fast paced, deadline drive environment. Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing software and HRIS Systems, (Infinium preferred). Advanced people management and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop employees; and ability to work successfully as part of a team. Ability to communicate with a diverse work force of team members and guests. Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays. Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
