Responsible for running production equipment, inspect, count, pack and test based on customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Read, comprehend and perform visual inspections per specific job instructions Operate both manual and automatic machines Scan barcodes and verify serial numbers Conduct accurate product counts, label, weigh parts and box finished products Accurately fill out production paperwork and batch tickets Must be able to work well in a fast paced environment Properly maintain all hand tools / equipment used Report machine, tooling, equipment, and material problems to supervisor or QC Record scrap in log book Break other operators as needed Work in other departments when requested General housekeeping (maintain clean and safe work area) Will perform additional job duties depending on job title Some overtime may be required according production needs Other projects as directed by supervisor or management Regular attendace (as defined by our policies) is required
Additional responsibilities for the Sr. Gun Inspector Packer: Communicate with customer to determine priorities Communicate with scheduling, customer service in reference to their manufacturing needs Assigns work as needed to Gun Inspector/Packer and Laser Engravers
Additional responsibilities for a Laser Engraver: Operate Laser Engravers, according to training and work instructions Conduct scheduled filter cleaning on equipment Equipment includes: depth gage, microscope, scanners and data entry Maintain serial plate inventory based in the needs of S&W and DRP and record accordingly.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred 6 months operating experience & a minimum of one year of supervisory experience for the position of Sr. Gun Inspector preferred Basic computer skills a plus Strong quality and attention to detail Familiar with use and operation of injection presses and secondary press-side equipment Ability to understand work instructions Basic math skills, able to use scales and calculate part quantities Positive / can-do attitude Must be proficient in English
