Development and implementation of promotions and events, slot tournaments and monthly promotional strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures that all patrons are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Assists in arranging all entertainment for special events and promotions. Handles any patron and team member questions, complaints or problems in a prompt and courteous manner. Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills. Conveys positive energy and enthusiasm focusing on the patron interaction. Continuously improves service by assessing service problems using player feedback or data. Responsible for the day-to-day planning and implementing of all promotions and special event efforts. Keeps the team well informed of property promotions and events and is present and visible at events. Coordinates with the IT department for accuracy of all system set-ups for promotions and events. Partners with the marketing department to develop strategies and programs to achieve promotional awareness and acquisition. Assist in emceeing at promotions and events. Assists all on and off-site marketing programs, promotions and special events for increasing casino revenues, also responsible for tracking and analysis of these programs to ensure patrons receive extraordinary patron service and operations run smoothly. Facilitates the timely flow of information throughout the property to customers and employees of upcoming events and promotions through the use of notice boards, flyers, posters and other multimedia devices. Maintains an ongoing schedule of promotions as outlined in the property marketing plan. Complete reports, database, and correspondence in a timely manner in order to meet deadlines as established by internal and external sources. Complies with all company and departmental rules and procedures. Issues new and replacement players club cards to patrons. Assist patrons in all aspects of the Rush Rewards. Authorized to approve and/or make adjustments to a patron’s account balance. Activate and/or deactivate a patron’s account. Performs all other duties as required. Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino – Des Plaines ICS. Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): 2 years experience in marketing and/or casino gaming Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent leadership / motivation skills. Excellent organization and planning skills. Excellent knowledge in various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), and Google Suite Budget and mathematical skills. Ability to communicate with Team Members and guests Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
