Position pays a minimum of $15.00. Position is eligible for incentive compensation based on achievement of established goals. The monthly average can range from $0 if no goals met and can be more than $50 if goal are exceeded. A Recruit Operations Specialist’s primary function is to perform account opening, account checkback and account maintenance on military recruit accounts while assisting in the promotion of Armed Forces Bank Recruit Program. New account opening and promotion of AFB Recruit Program requires a strong knowledge of military branches of services, recruiting, and recruiters.
Perform account opening, account checkback and account maintenance (via AEM and Navigator. Accept and respond to incoming military recruiter and recruit communications (telephone, chat, email, and letter) regarding the Recruit Program, the bank, and bank products (accounts and convenience products). Log all Recruiter calls and new account requests to appropriate station in Salesforce to include verifying existing information. Assist in dual control role of instant issue debit card production to include daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic audits of card materials/stock. Process all instant issue requests for replacement VDC’s through AEM. Process credit card payments received from Retention and complete block posting for data entry. Research, organize, and assemble information to support promotion efforts of Recruit Program to military recruiters and recruits (Salesforce research, kit assembly for military recruiters and recruits). Continual development of knowledge regarding the bank (history, policies, and procedures), banking products, and Recruit Program customer base (military recruits and recruiters). Regular attendance required, working at the work site during regular assigned hours. Other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education is required. Ability to work on a military installation by successfully obtaining approval from the governing authorities through background check and vetting process is required. Experience with Navigator and AEM is required. Must be a self-starter who is very organized and detail oriented. The ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional, pleasant, and friendly attitude is required. Professional verbal and written skills are required. Must be willing to work as a positive team member in a positive team environment with fast paced, shifting priorities. Military knowledge is preferred, but not required. Prior banking experience preferred. Prior sales experience is preferred. Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred. Prior experience with Salesforce is preferred.
The work environment is typical of a standard office setting. The position is sedentary, exerting 0 – 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. It involves sitting most of the time but may also involve moving about or standing for brief periods of time. Reaching may be required involving extending arms in any direction. Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone will be used requiring the ability to manipulate a keyboard or keypad. Ability to read a computer screen or written documents is necessary. Ability to e xpress or exchange ideas; impart oral information to clients or to the public; or convey detailed or important spoken instructions by means of the spoken word is required. The ability to receive detailed information through oral communication is required.
