This is a FULL TIME 40 hour per week, Paid Internship
The Intern will assist with projects in various departments throughout the Boral North America business units such as planning, finance, project management, security, procurement, quality control, information systems, engineering, and human resources depending on aptitudes and interests. Interns will be provided proper training and leadership development throughout their employment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Comply with Boral Safety Policies and Procedures Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility Supports all safety objectives of the facility working in conjunction with management Assist in managing the flow of paperwork Assist and facilitate staff as necessary - whenever and however needed Assist with business development matters including marketing material preparation Other related duties as assigned Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following: High School Diploma or equivalent 1 to 3 years of completed college course work College course work in packaging, preferred Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred No prior experience or training required
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee should possess the ability to: Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out Prolong standing or in stationary position Complete repetitive movements Bend and/or twist Lift/move/transport items up to 10 pounds Ability to move or traverse about the facilities Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
