Job Summary:
Brady Corporation is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Plant Human Resources Manager. This position will be responsible for HR administration, HR communications, employee engagement, talent acquisition, talent management, on-boarding/exit administration and training compliance coordination. This role will serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, performance management and local employment compliance.
Essential Duties: Works with employees, supervisors and managers to resolve employee relations issues, provides coaching on performance management and advises on talent development. Interprets HR policy, directs and delivers human resources services to various functions; identifies appropriate policy and procedures for specific situations. Serves as an employee advocate, balancing fair labor standards, Brady policy and practice and business needs. Partners with the recruiting team to drive recruitment strategies for plant operations: sourcing, interviewing, selection, diversity initiatives and forecasting/planning. Assists in staffing strategy/planning for contingent workforce. Leads the organizational talent review process & executes talent management priorities for Plant Operations. Partners with Organizational Development team to lead employee training and continuing professional development. Stays current with all relevant employment laws and regulations and industry trends as needed and provides counsel to management team. Coaches, develops and manages plant recruitment team.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Human Resources or related discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant Human Resources experience in a generalist role Ability to execute on day-to-day operational/administrative matters
