Product Optimization Strategist

The Product Optimization Strategist will leverage expertise across products, bridging product managers and the marketing team to ensure there are shared KPIs that each team is executing against. The role requires the monitoring progress, analyzing data and pulling themes to provide recommendations based on observations.   Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Be known as a thought leader within the organization, understanding Valley's customers' needs and how our products solve their problems. Work closely with the data team, determine the business opportunity for new features and make recommendations for pricing, target audiences, and adoption criteria. Partner with product management, sales, and customer success to provide significant input into product roadmaps and strategy. Launch new features and capabilities to market, providing cross-functional leadership. Clarify and define product positioning and messaging to drive success through new channels to target segments to boost lead quality and quantity. Help set direction for and provide leadership to marketing efforts via traditional, digital, social media and content marketing initiatives. Work with marketing to develop one-pagers, presentations, email templates, and call scripts to empower our marketing and sales teams to drive product adoption.

Self-starter with demonstrated success in using analytics tools like Google Analytics (360 a plus) and HotJar to drive the understanding, growth, and success of a product. Experience with building marketing programs and go to market plans. Strong writing skills Can creatively and clearly convey product value and can discuss examples of work. Research, dig beyond what's on the surface and uncover the truth. Excellent organization skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. Experience with tools like Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, etc. Proficient Computer Skills. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field and a minimum of 5 years previous experience in product marketing. Experience in product marketing in Financial Services Industry preferred.
