Job Description

General Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for the analysis, insight development, plan creation, and implementation of projects across a wide range of areas supporting Envoy's business environment. Under supervision of the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will work closely with the sales, IT, operations, infrastructure, compliance, governance, and security teams, as well as business partners, and vendors to define, develop, and execute projects. The Project Manager will utilize Envoy project management tools and methodologies to ensure the deployment of projects to production while successfully meeting the business goals as outlined in the scope portion of each project.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary job duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Manage strategic projects across the company that require coordination and in-direct management over multiple stakeholder groups Provide strategic internal consulting, with responsibility for the design, roll-out, and execution of project plans Works closely with all Envoy teams, business partners, and vendors to plan, organize, secure, and manage resources for assigned project efforts following project and software development lifecycles and project implementation policies and procedures as applicable Independently research, analyze, identify, and document the tasks to achieve the project goals Coordinate, facilitate, and lead project team meetings to accomplish project deliverables Responsible for the management of the project including work statements, work breakdown structures, developing and tracking budget and schedule, tracking individual project tasks, providing risk analysis, tracking, and resolving issues and action items, requirements gathering, quality assurance, providing various project management visibility and control measures and reports as needed and communicating to project team and stakeholders Work closely with business partners to understand their business, operations and system problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements Work with the business, technology teams and management to identify solutions that enable the organization to achieve its project goals Analyze, define, and map business processes Produce quality documentation and business process models as needed for assigned projects Trace the requirements through the life cycle of the project to ensure that the scope is managed and that the original requirements are delivered Manage the integration of vendor/subcontractor tasks, and track and review vendor/subcontractor deliverables, if appropriate for the project Serve as liaison between technical/non-technical teams, operational teams, branch personnel and vendor/subcontractor organizations Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups Conduct project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance Deliver documentation and ongoing activities to accountable teams and complete a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement Identify project management coordination process gaps/areas for improvement, recommend and implement solutions Some travel may be required Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Listed below are the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform this role. These qualifications are necessary for someone to be considered for this position.

Qualifications include: One to five years of project management experience High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree is a plus PMP or similar Project Management certification is a plus Mortgage industry experience a plus Conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques required Experience working with all levels of company management Works with internal business clients and external vendors Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
