The Spirent SecurityLabs team is looking for a full-time Software Security Consultant to join our team. The Software Security Consultant is responsible to oversee Spirent Product Security Program in accordance with Spirent product security policies. The security consultant is responsible for delivering services at the highest quality standard, delivering comprehensive reports, and providing remediation guidance. In addition, the consultant role involves providing thought leadership by speaking at conferences, publishing white papers, and blogging.

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; or equivalent work experience. Master's degree preferred but not required. A minimum of 8 years of relevant and practical experience. Prior Experience performing Application and Mobile Security Assessments. Prior Experience performing Source Code Analysis. Strong background in internet technologies and protocols (HTTP, SSL, LDAP). Knowledge of secure coding practices with Java, ColdFusion, and PHP. Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, or PHP. Experience with SQL and database management. Desire to learn and grow skills. Enjoys solving technical problems and helping others. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
