Job Description

The Surveillance Supervisor will assist in overseeing the protection and security of the guest and employee experience at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Run the Surveillance Monitor Room's live monitoring operation. Ensure the accuracy, quality, and quantity of observations. Prioritize observations of money areas, guest observations and employee audits. Maintain a balance between live monitoring of the property and review of the property. Ensure that front line follows the policies and procedures of the Surveillance Department. Train and aid in development of Surveillance employees. Provides constructive and positive feedback to frontline Surveillance employees. Make Gaming Control Board notifications when appropriate, and for that reason maintains an excellent working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Review all daily activity reports and prepares daily shift briefing reports for management. Others duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: At least three years in casino surveillance or similar experience. Excellent knowledge of all table games. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English. Excellent customer service skills. High School diploma or equivalent. Polished appearance and demeanor. Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to prioritize; consistently implements critical thinking skills. Excellent observational and communication skills. Proven ability to detect schemes, cheating activity and advantage play. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations. Excellent math skills: ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to interpret data.

Preferred: Previous surveillance supervisory experience. Associate 's degree.

Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.

Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
