The Supply Chain Specialist builds and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers. Works with complex or large territory/account, products/services, sales and or account management processes. May serve as team lead will manage the customer collaboration relationship around Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and the order fulfillment process.

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include: Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key customers and internal sales teams. Administers strategies meant to optimize organizational inventory levels and support organizational business objectives. Collects data and prepares analyses forecasting demand or predicting inventory needs. Collaborates with leadership on identifying and implementing efficiency or performance improvements. Analyzes retailer Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) data in conjunction with internal sales and inventory projections to execute customer purchase orders, ensuring supply of product is maintained at each retailer's location while maximizing optimal service, inventory, and order configurations for the retailer. Identifies and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain Develops and implements supply chain designs, models, strategies and/or processes to improve the business Maintains the data integrity through the excel deployment replenishment model. Identify customer data, trends and shortfalls that would require adjustments to the model. Investigate root cause of out of stocks. Provides reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), customer service levels, weeks of supply, inventory turns, out of stocks, to increase vendor relationship and customer satisfaction. Works with internal stakeholders to effectively manage prioritization of available inventory across multiple distribution centers and work centers. Influence and communicate deployment requirements with operations and supply chain teams.

You'll be most successful in this role if you have: Solid understanding of supply chain principles and key inputs/outputs to supply chain planning (Demand, Supply, Customer Service, & Logistics, Sales) Demonstrated experience ensuring seamless execution of our supply chain through continuous improvement, teamwork, and ongoing customer collaboration. Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, self-motivated, solid work ethic, follow through, and ability to take initiative. Strong external focus; demonstrated ability to plan with customers Skilled at cultivating networks across teams, hierarchies, and functions within the organization and at the customer

In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have: Requires 2 - 4 years in fast pace and high energy environment in major consumer packaged goods industry (CPG). Demonstrated experience ensuring seamless execution of our supply chain through continuous improvement, teamwork, and ongoing customer collaboration. Manages the product allocation process by pro-actively communicating product shortages and recovery dates internally and externally. Experience in manufacturing industry selling to domestic and international retailers preferred. Demonstrates process optimization, proactively seeks continuous process and service improvements, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Cultivates networks across teams, hierarchies, and functions within the organization and at the customer, while developing trust and long-term relationships.
