Job Description

Warehouse Foreman (No Per Diem) Long Term Maintenance

 

General Description Supervises assigned warehouse daily work. Completes and reviews records. Supervises the Loading/Unloading trailers with a forklift. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including ensuring all employees including supervisor of wearing required personal safety equipment. Upholds all company expectations for Safety, Health, and Environmental standards, policies, and procedures. Specific Description – Warehouse Foreman The purpose of the Warehouse Foreman assignment is to supervise the preparation of material for shipment and receive incoming material. Tasks include but are not limited to: • • Reads and interprets instructions and procedures • • Counting of product and comparing to bills of lading/packing slips to PO • • Receives items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers • • Sample incoming raw material (Use of respirator required) • • Moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site using a forklift • • Allocate material in SAP and other required documents • • Create labels, bill of lading, and process paperwork for outgoing and incoming shipments; Schedule logistics • • Create shipments using FedEx ship manager • • Maintain Inventory and shipping records by completing logs • • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. • • Accomplishes warehousing/shipping and organization mission by completing related results as needed and prioritizing task Qualifications – Warehouse Foreman • • Must Have a Valid driver’s license • • High School Diploma or equivalent • • Reliable transportation • • 2+ years of experience supervising shipping environment • • Strong computer and time management skills • • Domestic and International shipping experience; experience using FedEx ship manager • • Math skills: addition, multiplication, and division; Strong problem-solving skills • • Knowledge of DOT, IATA, and OSHA regulations • • Experience shipping hazardous and non-hazardous goods • • Ability to use forklift, pallet jacks, and drum carts • • Ability to work in outdoor environment hot/cold/rain conditions Work Schedule – Warehouseman The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. Overtime as needed.
