The hourly staff in Warehousing is responsible for product food safety, legality and quality, and safe execution of responsibilities.
Use Warehouse Management system to monitor, manage and execute the release of floor picking, replenishments, shipping and forklift driver workloads. Assign workload priorities with a key understanding of an area’s resources/capacity. Process material shipment requests accurately and efficiently Research, analyze and provide problem resolution to issues on replenishment, allocations, inventory control, bin status, product master set up and picking. Effective communication with Supervisors to best allocate workload. Manages the planning and ordering of materials, in and out of the warehouse/cold storage and ambient storage locations. Determines the handling/movement of product/material numbers based on cube, velocity and storage characteristics of each product/material number for each area. Recommends placement of inventory, to improve warehousing efficiencies. Ensure timely entry and processing of material and shipment request as they flow through the SAP system. Responsible for constant review of the system for needed improvements and opportunities to obtain greater benefits. Recommends procedural changes that will prevent the reoccurrence of the interface problems. Manages the problem resolution queue. Communicate all change of workflow to floor operations leadership timely via phone, in-person, email and radio. Work on the floor in a production role during non-peak, performing manual labor as required Perform other duties as assigned. Follow up on user set up and resource groups in Warehouse Management System. Interface with DP group on waving and work release. Provide assistance as needed for warehouse coordinators (P&D, Pick, and Runner). Hourly update of crew pick status (released vs. total). Assist in the Training of seasonal WQM positions. Participation and support of continuous improvement processes Identifying and coordinating re-warehousing opportunities. Other duties assigned.
$19 AN HOUR WITH A $1 SEASONAL INCENTIVE Able to work cold storage as needed (-10° to 40°) Able to lift 30lbs continuously while operating WMS/RF equipment and power equipment as necessary. Able to multitask in a fast pace environment while handling numerous DC operational priorities at once Honesty and respectful communication WMS experience required /SAP experience preferred
